§ 90-148. Interference with navigation prohibited.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to set out any fish or crab or lobster traps or pots or any similar device or to place any unauthorized marker within any channel in any waterway in the city. Likewise, no person shall anchor, operate or permit to be anchored, except in case of emergency, a vessel in a manner that shall unreasonably or unnecessarily constitute a navigational hazard or interfere with another vessel. Anchoring in or adjacent to heavily traveled channels shall constitute interference if unreasonable under the prevailing circumstances.
